Revenue assurance, applied to the street.
We started Telemetrica to answer a simple question for Lebanon's private power networks: is every kilowatt delivered also measured and billed?
Why we exist.
For decades, private generators have filled the gap left by the public grid in Lebanon. The networks grew building by building, and billing grew with them: amperage subscriptions, estimates, handwritten readings. It works, but it leaks, and nobody can prove where.
Telecom operators faced the same problem years ago. Revenue assurance is the discipline of making sure every unit of service delivered is measured and billed, and of finding out where it isn't. Telemetrica applies that discipline to electricity, with modern metering and a radio network that doesn't depend on building internet.
We start with generator networks because the need is greatest there. The same network then carries fuel, water and temperature data.
Who you'll work with.
Alain is a computer engineer (BS Computer Science, 2004) with two decades in telecom revenue assurance and counter-fraud systems, working on billing reconciliation and fraud detection for telecom operators.
He designs and runs Telemetrica's technical chain himself, from meter wiring and radio to the network server and platform, and tests every part on the company's own pilot network in Broummana.
What we stand by.
Fair to both sides
Operators get paid for what they deliver. Subscribers pay for what they use. Both see the same numbers.
Open standards
No proprietary lock-in. Operators can grow or change their hardware without starting over.
Measure before claiming
We test on our own network first, and we show results, not promises.
Local by design
Data hosted locally, support in Lebanon, Arabic and English.
Running a generator network? Start with one feeder.
We install on a single feeder, run it alongside your current billing, and show you what the numbers say before you decide anything.
